A SIMPLE COMPARISON

What can we learn from this simple comparative?   A majority of Republican representatives in Congress didn’t hesitate to impeach President Clinton for a single sexual indiscretion - but they now couldn’t bring themselves to impeach Trump for his personal - and lie-based - incitement of a riotous, destructive and deadly invasion of the U.S. Capital - an action which actually threatened not only the life of this nation’s Vice President, but countless members of our Senate and House of Representatives.  If this is the extent of their capacity for reason, as we’ve seen it in their past - can we expect anything different from the Republican party in the future?
